Origin: Tung Ting mountains of central Taiwan
 
A tea to be savored, the Tung Ting tea plants were brought to Taiwan from the Wuyi Mountains in China's Fujian Province about 150 years ago. The Taiwanese method of hand processing Oolong tea is best observed in this distinctly complex and fragrant tea. Tung Ting has a clear, crisp fruity taste with floral notes layered with a smooth, mellow, green tea like base. This tea provides many infusions, and the leaves open into beautiful one tip, one bud sets.
